Sister Scents Candles are Triple Scented 100% Natural Soy Wax Candles. All the candles we supply are homemade by the two of us.

Soy wax is made from soy beans and vegetables, both of which are renewable resources.

Soy wax is all natural, non-toxic and non hazardous making it perfectly safe to burn around children and pets.

This wax is a favourite of environmentally conscious people because it is biodegradable, comes from a renewable resource and, unlike paraffin candles, it does not contain any petroleum. Soy candles are also excellent value for money as they can last up to 50% longer than paraffin candles.

Anyone who has tried to get paraffin wax out of a tablecloth will appreciate that soy wax spills are extremely easy to clean. Rather than using a hot iron and blotting the item, scratching or picking the wax off there is the possibility not to destroy your tablecloths and furniture. As Soy wax is water soluble, just use warm water and soap to remove any spills.

Scented soy candles distribute more fragrance - the incorporation of the soybean oil lowers the melting point of the candle, which translates into a cooler burning candle and higher scent dispersion. Soy candles also produce less soot- soot should be avoided as it is not only unhealthy, but can eventually coat furniture and walls. Soy wax burns much cleaner and purer as it is all natural and produces about 90% less soot than paraffin candles.
